MANAGER

Schedule: FULL TIME
starting at 7AM to 17h or more depending of the surf lessons schedules / week-end included with days off planned accordingly

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced manager to join our team at Cabarete Surf Company.

As a Manager, you will play a important role in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the school while delivering a good service to our international and local customers.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of managing client interactions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee the overall operations of the surf school, including scheduling, staff management, and facility maintenance.
    • Implement and enhance operational procedures to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with instructors to maintain high-quality teaching standards and ensure a safe learning environment.
    • Make sure de school is clean and ready to welcome customers.
    • Open the school at 7 AM and close at 17h. Schedule will be split with Victor, general Manager and owner.
  2. Client Interaction:
    • Meet with clients to provide information, answer inquiries, and address concerns in both English and Spanish.
    • Manage the first contact with client til they go surf and after.
    • Gather feedback of the clients.
    • Manage reservations.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Manage a team of surf instructors and support staff.
  4. Marketing and Promotion:
    • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies to attract new clients.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the surf industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of surf school operations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management and booking systems.
