Cabarete in four area and a little more

The tourist region of Cabarete extends mainly over four large sectors or even five. The decision to stay in one area or another depends mainly on your activities, interests, desire to rent a car or motorcycle to get around.

CABARETE CENTER

Cabarete’s main beach is a large bay lined up with restaurants and bars. Here, all the choices are available to you from an all-inclusive hotel to a rental condo.

You have the choice between accommodation by the ocean or to choose to stay in secure community like PROCAB which is just across the main street and in which you have more affordable lodging options.

ENCUENTRO

ENCUENTRO AREA is ideal if you are coming for surfing and are looking for a more quiet and family community. Here, we recommend that you rent a car or a scooter to get around easier and reach the grocery store.

The selection of accommodations are mostly apartments  but few hotels are also available like El Encuentro Surf lodge or La Curadiña, a surf lodge soon to be open.

Perla Marina is another neighborhood that can be interesting for those who want to rent a house. Many families have settled in this private community.

Again, Airbnb can be your best friend to find a place here but few hotels options are also available like Maravilla Beachfront Eco Lodge or Natura Cabana. You can enjoy yoga classes, restaurant and spa. Once a month, they organize a very nice market on the beach where you can find local products and clothing.

CABARETE EAST (LA BOCA)

Cabarete east is an oceanfront neighborhood a bit far off the center but that can be interesting for those who are looking for affordable lodging. The sector is also booming, lots of pre-construction projects going on.

The beach is a long wild beach where it can be found a surf break called Mañanero.

SEA HORSE RANCH

This luxury oceanfront neighborhood offers amazing villas for rent. The complex have an equestrian center, tennis club, a restaurant and each Saturdays a local market open to public (10h to 13). This is truly beautiful place, if you have the budget for Sea Horse Ranch, go for it!
